Questions merchants ask first.
What is a stablecoin?
It is a digital version of a currency. USDC is a digital dollar: each one is backed by a real dollar held in reserve, so its price does not swing like Bitcoin.
Do I need a crypto wallet to start?
No. Sign up with your e-mail and we create a wallet for you. If you already have one, such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet, you can use it instead.
What happens to my money if Uruz goes offline?
Nothing. Your money is in your wallet, not with us. You can export your keys at any time and open the same wallet in MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet.
How do I turn digital dollars into my local currency?
Send them from your wallet to an exchange or an off-ramp service that operates in your country, and withdraw to your bank account from there.
How does my customer pay?
They open your link, connect a wallet and confirm. They pay the exact amount in USDC or EURC and do not need any other coin for network fees.
Can a payment be reversed?
No. Once confirmed on the blockchain a payment is final, so there are no chargebacks. Refunds are yours to send.
